Yannick Müller
Yannick Müller is a cinematographer based between Hamburg and Berlin. He is working as a director of photography and directing DoP for numerous national and international commercial brands. Yannick's approach is to elevate a project through an overall artificial, yet technological tone, mixing a contemplative style of music, abstract visuals, and enhanced special effects to coopt the viewer with a nostalgic feeling and leave room for interpretation. His sense for strong cineatic visuals creates a deeply atmospheric mood that takes the viewer into this magical world and leaves him fascinated. His main fields of work are fashion, beauty, sports, and experimental film. Well versed in all disciplines of classical advertising, Yannick loves to shoot commercials with a visual aspiration and produce content creation for topics that resonate with a modern zeitgeist.
Deeply rooted in the art of music creation since a young age, he is constantly in search for the apt musical sphere as his highest priority when it comes to create meaningful and immersive content. Yannick also composes and produces a lot of his music himself.
His style always involves a love for detail and micro impressions, capturing the little moments in human interaction to embrace a tinge of coincidence and randomness in his visual work. As a co-founder of the BYUS collective, he also creates campaigns and digital content in the area of contemporary culture and the people shaping it.
Yannick works for brands like Calvin Klein, Tom Tailor, Adidas, Nike, Puma, Aeyde, Liebeskind, Weekend, Opus, Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, Allike, UN Women, Toyota, BMW, AboutYou, Net A Porter, Neubau Eyewear, Syoss, Douglas, Nivea, Labello, Authentic Beauty Concept, Eucerin, Beiersdorf, Persil, Hess Natur, OTTO, Noisey, Spotify, Anita Hass, Schwarzkopf, Someday, Aldi, A Plus, Tush Magazine, ZDF, Zeit Magazin, i-D, Mr. Porter, Soundbooks, and Abhati Suisse.
