Karin Berndl
Karin Berndl is an internationally renowned beauty and stills photographer and director. Karin has always been fascinated by the magical process of photography. Introduced to the wonders of black and white printing very soon by her grandfather, Karin fondly remembers her first experience in the darkroom at around the age of five.
Karin's photos are pure in a subtle way and at the same time particularly aesthetic and modern. She loves working with unusual materials, fleeting moments, and experimental techniques. Fascinated by the combination of science and art, Karin has a keen sensitivity to light play. Her curiosity for the unusual, coupled with a touch of fantasy, give her photographs an ethereal timelessness.
Born in Austria and based in London, she studied Graphic Photography in Vienna. Shortly after, she began her career in London and was named AOP Photographer of the Year in 2009. Since then Karin has worked primarily in London and Paris and can now be booked for Austria and Germany via special booking.
