Bela Borsodi is an internationally renowned still-life photographer with Viennese roots, based between Vienna and New York. He moved to New York in the early 1990s, where he dedicated himself to still-life photography from 1999 onwards, significantly shaping and changing it. Since then he has worked for many international brands and magazines worldwide. However, Bela's work is by no means limited to stills and product photography; he shoots campaigns with models and people as well and loves to work with people in general.

Bela's images are humorous, edgy, enigmatic and never boring. His work oscillates between art and commerce and and the fine line in between blends together perfectly. He likes to work with the aesthetics of the unusual, his conceptual point of view plays a supporting role in his productions. Often a spark of black humor flashes through in his photographs. Bela's style, besides his talent for developing creative setdesigns and ideas, is always characterized by the conceptual aspect of photography. His surrealistic spirit creates many of his distinctive sets, which he likes to put together on his own and with great attention to detail. Bela studied art in Vienna and is able to transform his images into veritable works of art. Bela's work thus playfully acquires a very individual look that that is well received by his clients, as it remains in the memory and gives each brand a unique look. Bela has mastered all the rules of commercial photography through his many years of experience in advertising and with major brands. He shoots a lot for fashion, beauty and luxury brands, shoots film commercials for big brands like Hennes & Mauritz and dedicates himself to his book and art projects. In 2018 he published his first book "Unicorn" with Libraryman and in 2019 "Phytophile" with Dashwood Books.
